The Series
In the Eye of the Storm is an ongoing series since 2023 — an evolving body of work created in oils, oil-acrylics, chalk, graphite, love and magic. A series that lives and breathes at the intersection of the cosmic and the deeply personal.
At the heart of this series lies a quiet truth: we are energy. We absorb it, we reflect it, we release it. This belief pulses through every canvas — often literally, in the form of whispered words and personal blessings woven into the work itself. Phrases surface intuitively, appearing either embedded into the front of the painting or inscribed on the reverse as a private dedication — a blessing that travels with the artwork when it finds its home with a collector.
The word “love” appears again and again. Because we are only energy. And the energy we put out is the energy we receive. Love is the frequency this series is painted on.
Artwork Description
A luminous piece measuring 70 × 100 cm, built up in layers of oil, acrylic, chalk, graphite, and gold on raw, unprimed linen. An honest process — materials found, combined, and worked into the surface over time. Generous white space breathes through the composition — not emptying the canvas, but opening it. Reflective elements shift the painting’s presence depending on the light and where you stand.
This is not just something you look at. It is something you look into.
And then — if you look closely — you’ll find them. A small bird. A large bird at the top. A tiny octopus, tucked away. Hidden figures, as always in this work. They don’t announce themselves. They wait to be discovered.
Geese in flight. Magic. Love on a royal line.
That moment of finding something unexpected — that is what this series is about.
