The work unfolds as a three-dimensional composition, created through the incorporation of original love postcards received more than a quarter of a century ago in Paris from a person who remains profoundly important to the artist to this day. These embedded fragments carry memory, intimacy, and lived emotion, giving the piece its layered emotional resonance.

Typical Coco reflections appear throughout the work, enhanced by shimmering gold particles that catch the light and shift with the viewer’s movement. Lacquer, oil, and acrylic are applied in multiple layers, building depth and texture over a creation period of three years. The painting is immersed in rich, luminous blue tones that invite dreaming, drifting, and emotional openness.

Love Letters is both a tribute to enduring connection and a meditation on time, memory, and love — a work that holds presence, tenderness, and quiet intensity.
