This portrait began with Bobbino, my own dog, and the particular way he looks at me — a gaze that says more than words ever could.

There’s a version of me that only he sees. Not the woman performing competence, holding it together, playing the roles the world hands her — but the one underneath all of that. This piece is one of the strongest to come from that ongoing unmasking, portrait by portrait, of who I am when no one is watching except a dog.

Originally painted in watercolor, it’s built from soft washes and expressive linework — loose where it needs to breathe, precise where it needs to hold a feeling. Hand-applied highlights catch the light differently depending on where you stand, giving the surface a quiet, living quality that a print alone rarely has.

You Have No Idea How Much I Love You is an ode to unconditional love — the kind that needs no explanation, only presence. It’s an invitation to pause and feel the quiet, boundless devotion that lives in every glance.
